Chi Beta Delta prides itself on giving back to our community. Our main mission is to give back to our university and Austin community while providing long-lasting sisterhood through service. Each year all active and associate members are required at least a total of 60 hours of dedication towards community service, devoting at least 30 hours per semester. Each month of the year our Chief Service Officer plans a mandatory service event for our chapter to promote unity and sisterhood as we contribute positivity throughout our local Austin community. If you live in West Campus, you may have noticed our Keep Austin Beautiful street sign near Qdoba Mexican Grill. We are passionate about keeping our beautiful campus clean and perform monthly cleanups. Some of our favorite service events are Texas THON, a Dance Marathon movement that takes place at over 300 universities and high schools across the nation, and KAGLife, a Breathe 5K Color Run that supports The Kristie Ann Gonzalez Lung Awareness Foundation in finding a cure for ADENOVIRUS, a deadly virus that attacks small children to adults.
