Advice for PNMs: Go to as many rush events as you can! I know it can be a little intimidating, but the ladies of Chi Beta genuinely want to get to know you. I know I was very nervous to go to them, especially because I went by myself, but once I got to the event I felt comfortable talking to the other girls. I wish I had gone to more because they were really fun. Don’t be nervous!
Something I’m proud of: Putting myself out there, I’m very shy at first, it takes time for me to get comfortable around others but now being in college, and part of an organization has really helped me socialize more and try new things. Joining Chi Beta has really helped me come out of my shell and makes UT feel like my second home.
What are you most excited for Chi Beta this year? I’m excited for the sisterhood events and volunteering! Some of my favorite Chi Beta activities are the sisterhood events because I get to hang out with my sisters! I love volunteering and especially when I get to volunteer with my sisters can’t wait for all the fun volunteer activities in the semester!
